Dr Daniel Drage is a Lecturer in Environmental Health at the University of Birmingham and an Honorary Research Fellow at the Queensland Alliance for Environmental Health Sciences (QAEHS), University of Queensland. With a PhD in environmental chemistry, his expertise lies in analytical chemistry and mass spectrometry method development for environmental monitoring and human biomonitoring.
His research explores:
- Brominated micropollutants in the steel industry
- Persistent organic pollutants (POPs) and emerging contaminants in diverse matrices
- Pathways of human and environmental exposure
- Endocrine responses linked to pollutant exposure through collaborations with QAEHS
