Daniel Dornan

Daniel Dornan is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Helsinki, affiliated with the Faculty of Biological and Environmental Sciences and the Organismal and Evolutionary Biology Research Programme. His research focuses on rodent and disease ecology, with an emphasis on environmental systems.

Current research activities include participation in the project Återvätning av skogliga våtmarket: strat (2024–2025), which explores strategies for forested wetland restoration in collaboration with Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) and other participants. This initiative addresses critical ecological challenges in wetland conservation.
