Daniel Dickson

Daniel Dickson is an Assistant Professor in Social Policy at the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy, University of Saskatchewan. He holds a PhD in Political Science from Concordia University and completed a SSHRC postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Ottawa.

Research Interests: Dr. Dickson’s work examines how social policies can address discrimination and inclusion barriers for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities. His focus areas include policy implementation, supported housing, and social policy framing within Canadian health and social services.

Publication Trends: Recent articles analyze aging populations, care policy preferences in Québec, and pandemic responses in nursing homes. His work spans journals in social policy, gerontology, and comparative policy analysis.
