Daniel Cross is a Professor and former Chair at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema, Concordia University. He is also the founder of EYESTEELFILM, named among the top 100 non-fiction production companies globally by Real Screen Magazine. Cross holds the Research Chair in Interactive Documentary Filmmaking and is a member of the Provost’s Circle of Distinction.
His research focuses on Interactive Documentary, Emerging Technologies in Documentary, and Cultural Representation. Projects include the Homeless Street Archive (SSHRC-funded) and Nation Sans-Abris (FQRSC-funded), exploring new media and social narratives.
