Daniel Courtney

Daniel Courtney, M.Sc., is a researcher at the Chair of Sustainability and Innovation in Digital Ecosystems at the Rhine-Ruhr Institute of Information Systems, University of Duisburg-Essen. He holds a Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Siegen and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Courtney specializes in User Experience (UX) design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), and Service Design. His research explores the intersection of human behavior, cognitive psychology, and sustainable digital ecosystems, with a focus on usability and behavioral science in technological contexts.
