Daniel Butler

Dr. Daniel Butler is Professor of Political Science and Director of Undergraduate Studies at Washington University in St. Louis. He holds a PhD from Stanford University and researches American politics with focus on representation, legislative behavior, and electoral systems using experimental methods.

His recent publications analyze institutional reforms in elections, gender dynamics in legislatures, and voter accountability mechanisms. Articles exhibit strong methodological innovation in field experiments and quantitative analysis of legislative processes.
