Daniel Buskirk

Daniel Buskirk is Professor and Beef Extension Specialist at Michigan State University. He holds BS/MS from Purdue University and PhD from University of Illinois.

Research focuses on beef quality improvement, beef x dairy production systems, and traceability technologies. Leads MSU Extension beef programs and coordinates MSU Beef Center operations and bull evaluation programs.

Teaches undergraduate courses in beef management and advises student internships. Recent work examines cattle producers' perceptions of traceability technology and growth performance in beef-Holstein systems.
