Daniel Burkhardt

Daniel Burkhardt is an Assistant Professor for Artistic Editing at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne, specializing in experimental film, video art, and sociopolitical themes. He holds a degree in Media Art from the same institution. His teaching includes foundational seminars on Video & Performance II and De/Constructing the Other #2, focusing on identity, representation, and performative strategies. His work explores portraiture, migration, and media's role in societal narratives.

Exhibitions & Awards: His works have been featured at prestigious venues like the Centre Pompidou (Paris), Museum Reina Sofia (Madrid), and the International Film Festival Rotterdam.
