Dr Daniel Bos is a Senior Lecturer in Human Geography and Programme Leader of the Combined Honours Geography Programme at the University of Chester. His research focuses on geopolitics, landscape studies, and visual technologies. He teaches modules on social research methods, geopolitics, and fieldwork, integrating innovative pedagogical approaches like virtual reality (VR) and game-based learning. Bos leads the Experimenting with Digital and Immersive Technologies (EDIT) group, promoting interdisciplinary digital innovation in education.
His research explores the intersections of popular culture, geopolitics, and technology. Notable areas include:
