Dane Crossley

Dane Crossley is a Professor of Physiology and Graduate Coordinator in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of North Texas. His lab investigates integrative developmental physiology with emphasis on cardiorespiratory systems in vertebrates. Research spans fetal programming, cardiovascular development, and environmental adaptations.

Primary research areas include hypoxic effects on alligator development, cardiac anoxia tolerance in turtles, and evolutionary physiology. Recent work explores mitochondrial function, thermal remodeling, and chemoreflex plasticity.
