Dan Kroeze

Dr. Dan Kroeze is a Professor of Biblical Studies at Kuyper College, where he focuses on equipping students to engage deeply with Scripture and its relevance to contemporary life. He also serves as the Preaching Pastor at Westend CRC in Grand Rapids, emphasizing the church’s role as the hope of the world. His academic journey includes a B.A. from Calvin College (1982), M.Div. from Fuller Theological Seminary (1986), M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin (1992, 2003).

Dr. Kroeze is passionate about the literary artistry of the Bible, emphasizing how its narrative unifies to point to Jesus. He leads biblical study tours to Israel, helping participants connect their faith to historical contexts. His teaching integrates faith, discipleship, and active engagement with God’s world.

Outside academia, he enjoys family activities, sports (especially New York Yankees), and maintaining an active lifestyle. He values spiritual development, community, and fostering whole disciples of Christ.
