Dan Jing Wu

Dan Jing Wu is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), specializing in Biomedical Materials and Chemistry within the Department of Biomedical Materials and Chemistry. Her research focuses on developing dynamic responsive supramolecular polymers for biomedical applications such as 3D printing of controlled structures, hydrogels, and drug delivery systems. She holds a BSc and MSc in Biomedical Engineering from TU/e, with advanced training in Entrepreneurship and Technical Management, and completed the Netherlands Research School of Chemical Biology Honours Program.

Her academic journey includes a semester abroad at Queen Mary University London, internships at Xilloc Medical B.V. and Queensland University of Technology (Australia), and collaborations with the Catharina Hospital for drug delivery systems. Extracurricularly, she co-founded the fashion brand NOYA NOIR and serves as a Young Ambassador for the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences and a scientific media ambassador for de Balie STUDIO Amsterdam, promoting science communication and inspiring youth in STEM.

Her research interests span polymer chemistry, material characterization, 3D processing, and cell culture. Recent work emphasizes thermoresponsive hydrogels, vascular grafts, and adaptive biomaterials. Her publications reflect contributions to biomedical engineering, materials science, and drug delivery systems.

As a science communicator and entrepreneur, she bridges academia and public engagement, advocating for science's societal impact through media outreach and educational initiatives.
