Damien Pratt

Damien Pratt is a full-time Lecturer in the Social Work MSW Program at York College, CUNY. He holds an MSW from Hunter College (2013), a BS in Social Work from York College (2012), and an AA in Human Services from LaGuardia Community College (2009). His expertise includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Substance Abuse/Addiction, Medical Social Work, and Nephrology Social Work. He has served as an adjunct lecturer at York and LaGuardia and has extensive non-academic experience in healthcare and social services.

Pratt's professional service roles include membership on York's MSW Advisory Board and Field Advisory Board, as well as chairing the College Curriculum Committee. He volunteers with Woodside On The Move and the Woodside Neighborhood Association. His teaching spans courses like 'Social Welfare and Policies' and 'Advanced Field Placement & Seminar III.'
