Damian R. Murray is an Associate Professor at Tulane University's School of Science & Engineering. He earned his PhD from the University of British Columbia in 2013.
Murray's research investigates how disease-avoidance motives shape social attitudes and interpersonal relationships. His second research program examines physiological correlates of new romantic relationships, including immune system responses to relationship formation.
He has published extensively on behavioral immune system mechanisms and their implications for social cognition across cultural contexts.
