Dale S. Feldman

Dale S. Feldman, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). With a 31-year tenure at UAB, he has advised 10 Ph.D. students and 34 M.S. students throughout his career.

His research focuses on biomaterial-enhanced regeneration, including wound healing, degradable scaffolds, and implantable device design. He has developed techniques for in vivo quantification of healing processes and applied his work to clinical areas such as pressure ulcers, burns, and vascular/nervous system regeneration.
