Dale Peeples

Dale Peeples is a Professor at the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta University, within the Department of Psychiatry and Health Behavior. He serves as the Associate Professor and Program Director of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship, where he plays a key role in training and clinical supervision.

His research and clinical interests center on child and adolescent psychiatry, with a focus on juvenile justice, adoption and foster care, and the psychological impact of digital media on youth. He has contributed extensively to scholarship in these areas, particularly through book chapters and educational modules addressing media influences on self-harm, depression, and the integration of artificial intelligence in youth mental health care.

The recent publications reflect a strong trend toward digital behavioral health, forensic child psychiatry, and innovative psychiatric education. His work bridges clinical practice with technological advancement and systemic child welfare issues.
