Dale Edgar

Dr. Dale Edgar is an Associate Professor, Research Fellow, and Head of the Burn Injury Research Node at The University of Notre Dame Australia. He holds a B.Phty (Hons First) from the University of Queensland (1992) and a PhD from the University of Western Australia (2010). His work focuses on Value-Based Health Care, emphasizing data-driven research integrated into clinical practice. He specializes in patient-centered care redesign, equitable access to healthcare, and quality-of-life outcomes. His clinical expertise spans burns, trauma, plastic surgery, hand therapy, ENT surgery, and musculoskeletal problems, leveraging 30 years of clinical leadership in tertiary facilities. He is affiliated with Clinical Schools and operates in multiple locations, including Fremantle, Broome, Sydney, and online.
