Dale Cooper is a Senior Lecturer in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Lead of the Musculoskeletal Research Group at Keele University's School of Allied Health Professions and Pharmacy. He holds a Senior Fellow status from the Higher Education Academy and has extensive experience in NHS, private practice, and sports medicine, including roles with the England and Wales Cricket Board.
Education: BSc Sports Sciences (Brunel University, 2001), MSc Physiotherapy (Pre-registration), PhD in musculoskeletal epidemiology (University of Nottingham, funded by Versus Arthritis UK). His research focuses on retired athletes' health, musculoskeletal disorders, and pain mechanisms in knee osteoarthritis using fMRI.
