Dakota Roberson is Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Idaho and Associate at the Center for Advanced Energy Studies. He holds joint appointments with Idaho National Laboratory's National and Homeland Security directorate and as nuclear engineering affiliate faculty.
His research addresses:
- Grid resilience against cyber-physical threats
- Distributed energy resource control
- Modern power system stability
Professor Roberson advises the U.S. Air Force Chief Scientist and served as White House Fellow at the Department of Defense. He holds a Ph.D. (2017) and B.S. (2013) in Electrical Engineering from University of Wyoming.
