Daisy Thompson is a dance artist and scholar affiliated with Simon Fraser University (SFU) as a Limited Term-Lecturer in the School for the Contemporary Arts (SCA). She holds an MFA (2013) and a PhD (2024, Special Arrangement) from SFU’s SCA, focusing on interdisciplinary research at the intersection of dance, ethics, and politics. Her work explores kinesthetic strike—a concept examining dance as resistance against societal constraints and a catalyst for joyful, communal relationships.
