Dr. Daisy Silver is an Associate Lecturer at The Courtauld Institute of Art, focusing on modern and contemporary art with an emphasis on the Americas. Her research explores transnational artist networks in the US and Latin America from 1945 to the present, particularly collaborations between Mexico and California during mid-century. She holds a PhD from University College London’s Department of History of Art (2024), an MA in History of Art from UCL, and an MA (Hons) in Fine Art from the University of Edinburgh.
Teaching includes modules such as 'The Global City: Urban Issues in Contemporary Art' and 'The Modern Interior.' Her work bridges art history with design studies, examining themes like domestic space and interdisciplinary collaboration. Recent publications include an article on Clara Porset’s furniture design in Burlington Contemporary.
