Dag Strömberg is a licensed speech-language pathologist, board certified behaviour analyst (BCBA), doctoral student at Stockholm University’s Department of Special Education, and president of the Swedish Association for Behavior Analysis. He coordinates the master’s programme in applied behavior analysis and autism within the Department of Psychology and lectures widely across Sweden and internationally.
Research Focus:
- Promoting social interaction and eye contact in young children with autism.
- Communication, problem behaviour and sleep in individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Teaching & International Engagement:
- Course coordinator, Master Programme in Special Education with a Focus on Autism and ABA (ABAI Verified Sequence).
- Guest lecturer, Karolinska Institute Speech and Language Pathology programme.
- Invited speaker and trainer in France, India, Norway, Finland, Latvia, and USA on topics ranging from telehealth parent training to European professional standards.
Projects & Publications:
He currently leads the Erasmus+ funded EuroBA project developing common standards for European behaviour analysts and has co-authored key reports on professional recognition across 21 European countries. Recent publications address professional development and sleep interventions in autism.
