Dabo Guan is a Professor in Climate Change Economics and the Low Carbon Transition at the The Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction, University College London. He also holds a Distinguished Professor position at Tsinghua University's Department of Earth System Science. His expertise spans ecological economics, emission accounting, and input-output modeling for climate policy applications.

As a Highly Cited Researcher (2018-2022), he leads international consortium projects funded by the Natural Science Foundation of China, Ministry of Science and Technology, and Newton Fund. He teaches courses on Global Challenges in Human-Infrastructure Environmental Interactions, Input-Output Analysis, and Carbon Accounting at UCL.
