Daae Jung

Daae Jung is a Lecturer in the Department of English at the University of Vermont, affiliated with the College of Arts and Sciences. She earned her Ph.D. in English from the University at Buffalo in 2021. Her research focuses on psychoanalysis, critical theory, Marxism, film theory, and contemporary American literature. She has published analyses of writers and theorists such as Anne Carson, Slavoj Žižek, and Catherine Malabou. Her co-authored work on Clarice Lispector’s The Hour of the Star is forthcoming in Angelaki, and a manuscript on Joan Didion is set to be published by Critique.
