Dr. D. Larry Crumbley is a Professor of Accounting at the College of Business, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, based on the RELLIS Campus. He holds a Ph.D. (1967), M.S. (1965), and B.S. (1963) from Louisiana State University and Pfeiffer University respectively.
His research focuses on Forensic Accounting, Taxation, and Petroleum Accounting, with over 325 articles and 65 books including 13 educational novels. Notable works include Forensic & Investigative Accounting and The Ultimate Rip-off.
Award highlights include the AAA Forensic Accounting Lifetime Achievement Award (2015) and recognition as a NACVA Industry Titan Pioneer (2016). He co-founded the American Taxation Association and Forensic Accounting Sections of the American Accounting Association, serving as president for four sections and on the AAA Council for five years.
