D. Fischer

Professor D. Fischer holds the Chair of Pharmaceutical Technology at the Department of Chemistry and Pharmacy, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU). With extensive teaching responsibilities across multiple pharmacy and life science engineering programs, Prof. Fischer leads courses in Pharmaceutical Technology, Biopharmacy, Quality Assurance, and related fields for both undergraduate and graduate students.

Prof. Fischer's research spans multiple cutting-edge areas in pharmaceutical sciences, with particular emphasis on advanced drug delivery systems. The research portfolio demonstrates deep expertise in nanocarrier development, bacterial nanocellulose applications, and sustainable pharmaceutical formulations.
