D. Alan Johnson

Dr. D. Alan Johnson is an Adjunct Instructor at Saint Louis University's School for Professional Studies specializing in international psychology. His research focuses on counterterrorism, counterintelligence, and cross-cultural acculturation. He holds a Doctorate in International Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and an M.A. in Diplomacy from Norwich University.

Publications include psychological analyses of terrorist organizations and Thai migrant cultural identity. Dr. Johnson received the 2016 Adjunct Professor of the Year award at Saint Louis University and was awarded the Bronze Star for meritorious service in Afghanistan (2011, 2018). His professional affiliations include the American Psychological Association and Military Officers Association of America.
