Cyril Mauger

Cyril Mauger is a Lecturer at INSA Lyon, affiliated with the GM Department (Génie Mécanique) and the EM³ Team within the Laboratory of Fluid Mechanics and Acoustics (LMFA - UMR 5509). His research focuses on fluid dynamics and multiphase flows, particularly studying bubble dynamics, cavitation phenomena, and their applications in automotive engineering and biophysical systems. Key research interests include bubble-acoustic interactions for sonoporation, microchannel cavitation in injectors, and diffusiophoresis mechanisms.

He is actively involved in experimental and numerical studies using advanced techniques such as digital holography and molecular labeling to analyze bubble dissolution processes. His work also explores laser-induced bubble generation and its implications in various engineering contexts. Located at Joseph Jacquard Building, his research contributes to the Complex Fluids and Transfers group's activities within the LMFA laboratory.
