Cynthia Werner is a Professor and Senior Executive Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs at Texas A&M University's College of Arts & Sciences. She holds a PhD from Indiana University (1997) and has conducted extensive research in post-Soviet Central Asia, focusing on nuclear testing impacts, migration patterns, and gender dynamics. Her work bridges anthropological field studies with institutional equity initiatives. She teaches courses in cultural anthropology, applied ethics, and ethnographic methods.
