Cynthia Sturkie serves as Part-Time Instructor in the Non-Traditional Deaf Education Program at Texas Tech University, with adjunct appointments in Amarillo College's Interpreter Training Program. Her background includes extensive K-12 experience as teacher and director of Regional Day School Programs for the Deaf.
