Cynthia Chew, DNP, CPNP-PC, IBCLC, CHSE, is an Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing, Department of Health Promotion & Development. She coordinates Nurse Practitioner Programs and the Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Program.
Clinical Emphasis: She practices as a primary care pediatric nurse practitioner and lactation consultant at Pediatric Associates of Westmoreland, precepting nurse practitioner and midwifery students in the Newborn and Lactation Suite. Previously, she worked as a senior professional staff nurse at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC in obstetrics and NICU units.
Research & Scholarly Work: Dr. Chew focuses on infant health promotion, particularly nutrition and oral health.
