Cynthia Barnard

Cynthia Barnard is a Lecturer at Northwestern University, affiliated with the Department of Medicine (General Internal Medicine) and the Department of Medical Social Sciences (Implementation Science). She contributes to academic and research initiatives through her involvement with the Institute for Public Health and Medicine (IPHAM) and the Northwestern University Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (NUCATS).

Her research focuses on addressing healthcare disparities, particularly within LGBTQ populations, and advancing implementation science to improve patient safety and healthcare quality systems.
