Cuneyt Akcora

Dr. Cuneyt Akcora is an Associate Professor in the Department of Finance at the University of Central Florida's College of Business. He earned his M.S. from the State University of New York at Buffalo and his Ph.D. from the University of Insubria, Italy. His research focuses on data science applications in complex networks including social, biological, IoT, and blockchain systems.

Dr. Akcora has published in prestigious venues including IEEEtran, KDD, NeurIPS, VLDB, ICDM, SDM, IJCAI, and ICDE. Prior to joining UCF, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Texas at Dallas and an Assistant Professor at the University of Manitoba.
