Prof. Dr. Csilla Csák is Dean of the Faculty of Law and Director of the Institute of Civil Sciences at the University of Miskolc. She graduated from the Faculty of Law in 1990, earned her PhD in 2001, and completed habilitation in 2015. Her academic career includes leadership roles as Head of the Department of Agricultural and Labour Law (2002-2018) and Deputy Dean (2004-2008, 2012-2018).
Her research focuses on agricultural law and environmental law, with particular expertise in constitutional aspects of farming, waste management regulations, and corporate environmental responsibility. She has developed specialized knowledge in multifunctional agriculture frameworks and pollution liability mechanisms.
Her publications demonstrate consistent focus on agricultural legislation, environmental governance, and constitutional foundations of land use policies. Recent work examines restitution policies, corporate environmental compliance, and constitutional values in farming models.
