Cristina L. M. Silva is an Associate Professor at the Escola Superior de Biotechnology within Universidade Católica Portuguesa. She specializes in Food Science and Engineering with a focus on modeling and optimization of food processes, sustainable food systems, and preservation technologies like ultrasound, ozone, and UV-C radiation. Her work extends to by-product valorization, particularly in fruit and vegetable processing.
