Craig Stevens

Craig Stevens is an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, specifically within the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering in the Tickle College of Engineering. He has also served as adjunct faculty at Vanderbilt University, Belmont University, Trevecca Nazarene University, and University of Phoenix. Stevens specializes in teaching Project Management and Optimization courses.

His research and professional expertise focus on change management, continuous improvement, and systems optimization. He has developed models and authored books/papers on management subjects, with practical applications across industries like Healthcare, Manufacturing, Government, Energy, and Scientific Research.

Stevens has extensive consulting experience, having worked with over 100 organizations including US DOD, NASA, and Lockheed Martin. He previously managed the Process Improvement Program for HCA Physician Services, leading a team to implement CPI/Lean/Six Sigma initiatives across 800 practices.

He is associated with the Center for Advanced Systems Research and Education (CASRE) at UT Knoxville, where he contributes to teaching and research in Industrial and Systems Engineering.
