Craig M. Wise

Craig M. Wise is a Professor in the College of Engineering and Polymer Science at The University of Akron, affiliated with the Department of Civil Engineering. A UA alumnus (class of '96), he joined the faculty in 2008 after professional roles at GPD Group, Black & Veatch, and BBC&M Engineering. He serves as a Subject Expert in Construction Practices and Geotechnical Engineering for Attorney Mark B. Weisman and has been featured in publications and presentations.

Research Interests: Focused on structural mechanics, construction methodologies, and hydraulic systems, with teaching responsibilities in Statics, Strength of Materials, Foundation Construction, and Hydraulics.
