Craig Knuckles

Craig Knuckles is a Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science at Lake Forest College, serving as Chair of the Digital Media Design program. He holds a PhD in Mathematics from Louisiana State University, alongside MS and BS degrees from Tennessee Technological University. His expertise spans software engineering, database-driven web applications, Linux systems, and statistical computing.

Research focuses on web technologies, internet architecture, and computational mathematics. He has authored books such as Web Applications (with Perl, JavaScript, PHP, ASP, SQL, XML) and Introduction to Interactive Programming on the Internet, and has presented at venues like the CCSCNE Conference and Chicago Data Processing Education Council.

Recipient of the 2002 William L. Dunn Award for Teaching Excellence and 1994 LSU Teaching Excellence Award, Knuckles teaches courses ranging from introductory programming to advanced topics like topology and abstract algebra. His work emphasizes integrating technology into education and fostering net-centric curricula.
