About
Dr. Craig Douglas is a Professor of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Wyoming's College of Engineering and Physical Sciences, with an Adjunct Professor appointment in Computer Science. He earned his Ph.D. from Yale University and is globally recognized for pioneering research in Dynamic Data-Driven Application Systems (DDDAS) for Big Data, high-performance computing, and multigrid algorithms for partial differential equations. He co-developed the first commercial DDDAS for oil and gas pipeline monitoring, deployed across 100+ countries. His work bridges theoretical mathematics and practical engineering challenges.
