Courtney Fellion (she/her) is a Lecturer in the School of Cinema at San Francisco State University. She specializes in film curation and experimental media arts, with research focusing on exhibition formats, zine culture, and virtual spaces. Her work bridges physical and digital archives, including launching the School of Cinema's Archive Project in 2020.
Professional affiliations include Canyon Cinema, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and the Kramlich Collection. She co-organized the HÄXÄN Film Festival (2014-2017) and edited the Canyon Cinemazine (2012-2019), reviving 1960s experimental film newsletters. She has presented at institutions like the University of Chicago and NYU, and participated in Sundance's Art House Project.
