His research particularly focuses on electrochemical biosensors with machine learning applications, electrosynthesized polymers, molecular imprinting polymerization techniques, and analytical methods for micro/nanoplastics in environmental samples.
With over 180 peer-reviewed publications, Professor MALITESTA has established significant scientific collaborations with universities across the USA, UK, France, Germany, Sweden, and Spain.
