Cory Palmer

Cory Palmer is an Adjunct Professor at the School of Music, Nazareth University, where he teaches Studio Double Bass. He is also a professional bassist, currently serving as principal bass with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) since 2017, and previously held principal bass positions with the Canton Symphony Orchestra (2012-2016), Sarasota Opera, and West Virginia Symphony Orchestra.

His early training with Ralph Jones of the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra and advanced studies with mentors like Jack Budrow, John Hood, Orin O'Brien, and Jeff Turner shaped his expertise in double bass performance.
