Corrine McIsaac

Corrine McIsaac is an Associate Professor in the Department of Nursing at Cape Breton University and an Associate Scientist with the Maritime SPOR Support Unit.

Dr. McIsaac's research spans wound and skin care, post-operative surgical care, virtual care, artificial intelligence, and outcome measurement. She has commercialized her findings through an intelligent wound care platform that enables evidence-based clinical decisions, improving patient outcomes. Holding Canada's largest wound care dataset, she actively develops predictive models and AI algorithms through cross-institutional research collaborations.

She partners with wound care clinical teams to implement technology-driven solutions and advocates for healthcare innovation through advanced technological integration.
