Corrado Piroddi

Corrado Piroddi is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Tampere University's Faculty of Social Sciences and Health Sciences. His research focuses on socio-philosophical and bioethical issues related to vaccine trade agreements, health equity, and pandemic governance. He holds a PhD in Social Ontology from Tampere University (2020), supervised by Prof. Arto Laitinen and Dr. Onni Hirvonen. His work bridges critical theory, social philosophy, and bioethics, emphasizing frameworks rooted in care and cooperation.

• Current Project: Examines vaccine equity and sustainability through a care/cooperation lens, funded by the Wihuri Foundation.
• Previous Postdoc: Explored pandemic ethics and health justice using recognition theory.
