Corinne Rondeau is an Associate Professor in Aesthetics and Art Sciences at Nîmes Université. She serves as a permanent member of UPR PROJEKT since 2023 and an active member of the Open Doors on Art Association (supporting artists in exile since 2024). As an art critic, she contributes to France Culture – Radio France since 2006. Her research focuses on contemporary image anthropology, political uses of history through art, pedagogy via visual culture, and war representations in art and media.

- Teaching: Design licenses (L1-L3), Master Design Innovation, courses on visual studies, aesthetics, and cultural ethics
- Key projects: Led interdisciplinary conferences on decolonial practices (2024) and design responses to societal vulnerabilities (2025)
Her research explores intersections of art with history, politics, and ethics. Recent work examines Susan Sontag's cinematic portrayal (2025), art brut dynamics (2025), and Virginia Woolf's androgyny (2025). She actively engages in exhibition critiques for major art venues like Fondation Louis Vuitton and Arles' Van Gogh Museum.
Rondeau has served as jury president for national art diplomas (DNSEP/DNAP) and holds CNU 18° section membership. She has contributed over 100 scholarly works, including monographs on Chantal Akerman and David Claerbout, and edited volumes on art theory and practice.
