Corey Ann Clem

Dr. Corey Ann Clem is an Assistant Professor of Practice and Course Director in the College of Media & Communication at Texas Tech University. She holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Communications and Education from Texas Tech University, along with M.S. and B.S. degrees in Agricultural Communications from Texas Tech and Oklahoma State University respectively. Her interdisciplinary work spans agricultural communication education, business communication, and technical writing.

Research focuses on aligning graduate competencies with employer expectations in agricultural communication. She previously directed the Georgie G. Snyder Center for Business Communication at TTU's Rawls College of Business and taught technical writing at the TTU School of Law. Dr. Clem also served as a graduate assistant teaching agricultural communication courses during her doctoral studies.

Recipient of the Association for Communication Excellence Outstanding Dissertation Award (2014) for her work on agricultural communication competencies through a Delphi Study methodology. Her teaching portfolio includes Scientific Communications in Agriculture (ACOM 2302) and Digital Communications in Agriculture (ACOM 2305), along with business communication courses.

Actively engaged in academic-practice integration through roles at Texas Tech University's communication centers and affiliated with multiple departments including Media & Communication, Business, and Law. Personal details include cotton farming with her husband Jordan south of Lubbock and family life with daughter Blakely.
