Cordonier Valérie is a Lecturer at the Department of Philosophy, University of Fribourg (Switzerland), and a Research Fellow (CR1) at the SPHERE laboratory (UMR 7219, CNRS) in Paris. Her research focuses on the Aristotelian tradition's developments and critiques from antiquity to the Middle Ages, particularly on divine providence, sensory perception, and interdisciplinary intersections in musical discourse (18th–20th centuries). She has held visiting positions at institutions like the New School for Social Research (NYC) and contributed to critical editions of Aristotle's works, including the Liber de bona fortuna and Ethica Eudemica.
