Cooper Salmon

Cooper Salmon is a Lecturer in the Art Practice department at Stanford University. A Bay Area visual artist and educator, he holds a BFA with distinction in Painting and Drawing from California College of the Arts (2019) and is currently an MFA candidate at Stanford, expected to graduate in 2025.

Cooper creates cartoon-like, playful acrylic figurative paintings inspired by everyday moments and people in his life. His work has been exhibited in solo and group shows across the Bay Area at venues such as Soft Times Gallery, WERKSHACK Gallery, and the Palo Alto Art Center.
