Constantinos Pitris is a Professor at the University of Cyprus's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, followed by a Ph.D. in Electrical and Medical Engineering from MIT, and an M.D. from Harvard Medical School (Magna Cum Laude, 2002). His research aims to develop novel technologies that enhance diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities in healthcare systems.
Since joining the faculty in 2002, Professor Pitris has focused on translational medical technologies with potential for significant clinical impact.
