Constantina Constantinou is a Professor of Molecular Cancer Biology at the University of Nicosia Medical School. She holds a BA in Biological Sciences (Microbiology) from Cornell University, an MSc in General and Medical Microbiology from University College London, and a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from St George’s, University of London. She also completed a PgCertHE from the University of Hertfordshire. Her postdoctoral work focused on molecular cancer biology at St George’s University of London and the University of Cyprus.

Her research prioritizes molecular pathways of tumorigenesis and lifestyle medicine, exploring how nutrition, exercise, sleep, and stress management influence cancer prevention and chronic disease management. Her work has been funded by national, European, and international agencies, with publications in high-impact journals.
